New Delhi: As of April 1, the price of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has increased by Rs 250. From Friday onwards, the cylinder will cost Rs 2,253 in Delhi.
The same cylinder now costs Rs 2,351 in Kolkata, Rs 2,205 in Mumbai and Rs 2,406 in Chennai.
Earlier, on March 1, the rate of a 19 kg commercial cylinder was increased by Rs 105. On March 22, its price was reduced by Rs 9.
Meanwhile, there has been no change in the price of domestic cooking gas. A domestic 14.2 kg LPG cylinder is available for Rs 949.50 in Delhi, Rs 976 in Kolkata, Rs 949.50 in Mumbai and Rs 965.50 in Chennai.
On March 22, the price of the domestic LPG cylinder was hiked by Rs 50. It was the first increase in the price of domestic cooking gas since early October.
The price of LPG cylinders is revised monthly for all states and union territories in India.
