Srinagar, Sep 25 (KNA) : Some unidentified miscreants attack and injured a youth with sharp edged weapons and also fired a bullet which hit the victim in his leg. area of Supwal in Samba district on Saturday late evening.
Official sources told Kashmir News Apex- (KNA) said that a youth identified as Balwinder Singh, son of Harpal Singh of Randhawa Colony Vijaypur was going to his friend’s residence when some car borne miscreants attacked him with sharp edged weapons and also opened fire on the victim, which hit him in his leg near Barian. miscreants later managed to escape from the spot.
He said victim was rushed to nearby hospital in Vijaypur from where doctors referred him to GMC hospital for specialised treatment.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station and
investigation started. (KNA)
