Bareilly: A resident of the Bhamora police station area in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly has been detained by police after being accused of kidnapping and marrying a young girl without her family’s consent.
On September 9, Brijpal, a resident of Bhamuri, seized the chance to remove his friend’s sister (17) from her home, according to police reports released on Sunday. The girl was home alone at the time of the event. When extensive searching, the girl’s family reported Brij Pal (20) of the village on September 13 after they were unable to locate her. Late on Saturday night, the kid and the girl were taken into custody by the police. Following the medical check on Monday, the child and the girl will be brought before the court.
SP (Village) According to Rajkumar Agarwal, the girl’s brother is friends with Brij Pal. He had to visit the girl’s home for that reason. On September 14, Brijpal abducted the little girl from her home and married her in the Arya Samaj temple.
After receiving a complaint from the mother of the girl, the Bhamora police put together a team, began an investigation, and, under the direction of Sub-Inspector Madanpal, arrested the girl and Brijpal from the Chandpur intersection. Prayag Raj Singh, the in-charge of the Bhamura police station, stated that both were transferred for medical care on Sunday afternoon and that additional action is being taken.
