Pattan 10 feb (KNS):In a shocking incident today, a brother reportedly attacked his own sibling with an axe in KP Payeen village of Pattan area in North Kashmir's Baramulla district on Saturday afternoon
Official sources told Kashmir News Service KNS that The victim, identified as Muzaffar Hussain Dar, aged 30 and working as a laborer, suffered severe injuries following a heated argument over a land dispute with his brother in their house.
Sources said that the the scuffle between the brothers escalated into violence, with Muzaffar Hussain Dar being brutally attacked by his younger brother, Sameer Hussain Dar, aged 19.
Subsequently after the incident, Muzaffar Hussain Dar S/O Gh Mohmmad Dar, was swiftly evacuated to a nearby hospital for urgent medical treatment However, due to the severity of his injuries, he has been referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment. His condition is reported to be critical. They said.
Meanwhile police Is investigating the incident and a case has been registered in police station Pattan in this regard.(KNS)
