Two men arrested for eve teasing and molestation in Pulwama:- Police
Srinagar, July 13 (KS):- Police Police has arrested two persons involved in Eve teasing and molestation in the district.
Police in a statement to News Agency Kashmir Scroll said that Police Station Pulwama received a written complaint from a female (name withheld) regarding an incident of eve teasing and molestation.
Acting swiftly, a case under FIR No. 132/24 U/S 75(1) BNS was registered at Police Station Pulwama, police said, adding that the accused were identified as Shahid Bilal Bhat, S/o Bilal Ahmad Bhat, R/o Pinglena, and Shayan Rasool, S/o Gh Rasool Reshi, R/o Dugam Kakapora who were promptly arrested.
The investigation is ongoing to gather all necessary evidence and ensure justice for the victim, police said.
