BJP Yuva Morcha President Shot in Jammu
Jammu, Jan 3, KNT: Advocate Kanav Sharma, president of the Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha, was shot at by unknown persons in New Plot Jammu on Friday.
Sharma, who is the son of senior BJP leader Chander Mohan Sharma, sustained injuries and has been admitted to the emergency ward of Sarwal Hospital.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and started an investigation.
“Police are working to identify the perpetrators and determine the motive behind the attack.”
Eyewitnesses told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that on parking issue there was an altercation, while unknown persons fired at him. “He was shifted to Sarwal hospital where doctors referred him to Government Medical College Jammu,” they said. [KNT]
